Information we do not collect

Generals Tactics has no sign-up, login, or user profile. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or any other personally identifying information.

Anonymous gameplay analytics

To understand how the game is played and to balance its AI opponents, the app sends anonymous gameplay events to Google Firebase Analytics. A typical event records the outcome of a game: win or loss, the game mode, the AI difficulty level, the number of turns, and how long the game took.

These events are not linked to you. The app attaches no user ID or account to them, and nothing in them identifies who played. Firebase uses its own random identifier for each app installation to count events; it is not derived from your Apple ID or any personal information, and it resets if you delete and reinstall the app.

Advertising (iOS)

The free version of the game on iOS shows occasional interstitial ads served by Google AdMob. These ads are non-personalized: the app asks Google not to tailor ads to you, and it never asks permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may still collect device information such as IP address and coarse ad-interaction data, as described in Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob's data practices. Any in-app purchase removes ads entirely.

In-app purchases

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Purchases can be restored on any device signed in to the same Apple ID.

Push notifications

The app registers a push-notification token with Firebase Cloud Messaging so that future versions can offer optional notifications. The app does not currently send you any notifications, and no notification permission prompt is shown.

Game data stays on your device

Your saved games, move history, replays, and personal statistics are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.

In-game assistant

On devices that support Apple Intelligence, the in-game rules assistant processes your questions on-device using Apple's Foundation Models. Your questions are not sent to our servers.

Remote configuration

The app fetches game-tuning settings (for example, AI difficulty parameters) from Firebase Remote Config. Like other Firebase services, this uses an anonymous per-installation identifier to function; it carries no personal information.

Children's privacy

Generals Tactics is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention and your choices

Analytics data is retained in aggregate form to guide game improvements. Because it is not linked to any user ID or account, we cannot connect it to a specific person. Deleting the app removes your local game data, and a reinstall starts with a new installation identifier. If you have questions about analytics data, contact us and we will do our best to help.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
